What is the difference between a Physical Therapist (PT) and an Athletic Trainer (ATC)?
Certified athletic trainers (ATC) are highly skilled health care professionals who operate under the direction of a physician under state licensure statutes. ATCs collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other personnel to ensure the highest quality of care from the moment an individual gets injured to the second they return to play. ATC's are educated comprehensively in five domains of clinical practice: Injury/illness prevention and protection, clinical evaluation and diagnosis, emergency medicine (First Aid, CPR), treatment and rehabilitation ( manual therapy, modalities and exercise prescription) and organization and professional health and well-being.
What type of services does Fusion offer?
